“While continuing our work on rallysprint “Vidzeme”, we have encountered unforeseen challenges, making it impossible to organize a rallysprint event on May 24. To elaborate, running of some special stages were compromised by the restrictions that must be observed when organizing an event in the territory of a nature micro-reserve. Meanwhile, another planned special stage has been ruled due to previously unannounced bridge repair works. Considering such obstructions, we are in a situation where we cannot run a successful event on May 24,” said Jānis Krastiņš, organizer of rallysprint “Vidzeme”.

“I would like to emphasize that we have not given up hope of organizing rallysprint “Vidzeme” in 2025. However, without knowing the exact time when all the above-mentioned obstacles will allow the event to take place in full force, we are in no position to ask the LAF Rally Commission to approve another date. We will continue our work, monitor the situation, and inform about the rescheduled date of rallysprint “Vidzeme” as soon as possible,” said Jānis Krastiņš.
